I'm trying for something new. In order to (hopefully) take more pictures, I'm going to shoot for posting a picture a day. It might be mundane, crafty, cute, or whatever. But I'm going to try. I'll try for a legit picture, not some last minute picture of myself on the webcam. Because that's kind of cheating. We'll see how it goes...
Crappily enough, this means that I have to edit this page every time I add a picture. I'll try to remember to make it so the new ones are always at the top.

January 20, 2012 - RAIN. FINALLY. I'll take it even though it means the kids are inside for recess.
January 19, 2012 - Officially got the news that I'll have a new student. Starting Monday. Planning started. That night I thanked God for my Mexicanness because I make the best guacamole and husband makes the best pico de gallo.

American Idol! Last year's method of taking notes then writing up the episode afterward wasn't working for me. So I busted out the old laptop and forced it to work so I could blog it.
January 17, 2012 - Date night with my husband and parents. We tried a restaurant we haven't been to before. Tuesdays are "Steal the Glass" nights, meaning if you order the designated beer of the night, you can keep the glass. I think this will be our new Tuesday thing.
January 16, 2012 - Day off of school. We vegged and did a little shopping. I wanted these shoes... but then the girl at the store had HORRIBLE customer service skills so I walked out. So these are not currently residing in my closet. Maybe soon...
January 15, 2012 - Lazy Sunday at home. Double depressing too. I said good-bye to my last soap opera. There was much crying. Then I watched my Packers STINK IT UP. I don't know who they were, but they weren't the same guys I watched all season. Finished the night with the Golden Globes and my Lauren. :)
January 14, 2012 - We had a memorial service for Tim's cousin today. Afterward we were tempted by the brewery across the street. We've had this beer before and we knew it was good. So we went across for a little sibling time. Hubby and I, sissy #1, sis #2 and her hubby, and brother. We watched football and just enjoyed hanging out together. Because it's NEVER the six of us.
January 13, 2012 - First day I goofed. I actually didn't take any pictures today. On my phone or otherwise. We can blame it on being sick. Or I can be like my dad and make up some story about how taking a picture of yourself on Friday the 13th causes you to lose your soul and make you a target for demon possession... but I'm not a liar. Right? ;)
January 12, 2012 - This was my morning. Not coffee; green tea with honey. I woke up with an awful sore throat. So I made ginormous cup of tea in my nice Browning travel mug. I love this thing. It's so huge.
January 11, 2012 - Beer thirty. It was one of those random days that's not quite horrible, but still not great. There were things unsaid that I wish I could have said. I was tired. And it just started to feel like a lot of things are happening.
January 10, 2012 - I know this looks totally unappetizing, but believe me this is the best yogurt. Key Lime Oikos Greek yogurt. SO BOMB. This is probably the type of picture you'll be getting during the weeks. Because really, do you expect me to do something amazing every night? I need my rest.
January 9, 2012 - Back to school today. The kids were actually pretty "with it." I didn't expect that coming from break. By the end of the day they were DEFINITELY tired though. I also sampled my rummies (rum soaked gummies) tonight. They didn't soak everything up... could be that I used Malibu instead of plain ol' rum. But I'll be doing it again.
January 8, 2012 - The boy was with me again today. :) We wore our Green Bay jerseys (actually his is my old one) and went to my mom's. She had my brother's old toys out. GI Joe, Transformers, Ghostbusters, He Man... there was a ton. And he loved it. I put an old-timey filter on the picture with my phone. It's my new obsession.
January 7, 2012 - Random day at home. Downloaded some more apps for the phone. Took a fun picture of my makeup while I got ready to go to the in-laws tonight. And now I have a Tad. We're going to spend our last day of break together. :)
January 6, 2012 - Messy hair, cardi, playing with my phone. Unfortunately the first text on said phone this morning was that hubby's cousin passed away. Not unexpected - she had cancer. But still sad. So he came home and our day was spent doing nothing.
January 5, 2012 - Undecorating. BLAH. I did manage to watch some soap opera goodness while I undecorated though.
January 4, 2012 - Ups and downs. Rollercoaster kind of day. Hence the headphones while I browse the interwebz and have some adult refreshment. It was just that kind of day.
January 3, 2012 - Bummed around with Tad for awhile. We watched a movie at home, took him to lunch at Red Robin (his absolute favorite), and took him to do some archery in the fields. He's getting better. It's really cute to watch him.
January 2, 2010 - Took Tad ice skating in Yosemite. Saw a mule deer with a huge rack. It was a nice little family "adventure." Tad seriously called it an adventure. :)
January 1, 2012 (whoa that felt weird typing) - Technically it works because this one was after midnight. In my festive hat (an original creation).
