Productivity...

... is overrated. And I only say that because I've done pretty much nothing today.

Woke up late, which is funny because I've been having trouble sleeping in past 8:30 since school started. Arranged my cute little pumpkin patch on the front porch (I'm feeling a Friday photo there!). Read the paper. Been watching stupid SciFi all day. I did manage to shower and get dressed though. But besides that I've just been reading cooking blogs all day. And cursing the person who beat me to opening a cupcake bakery here in Fresno.

Oh, did I forget to mention that?

Yeah. Y'all know I love baking. And Friday morning at my grandma's I read that some lady is opening up a cupcake bakery here in MY town. Grrr... At least it's on the other end of town. And just so you know, if you're reading this and you live in Fresno, I will disown you and never acknowledge your existence again if you buy cupcakes there.

Seriously.

Marriage Counseling

Following a conversation about pre-marital counseling...

"But we don't need actual marriage counseling."

"Hell no. Is there anything a bottle of wine and some sex can't fix?"

I totally earned a high-five for that one.

I'm ready

So totally ready for winter. I do love me some summer. Because what's not to love about beach, flip flops and painted toenails? But winter is awesome. I love having to pile blankets on my bed. I love my fake uggs (you think I'm payin' for real ones?). I love hot chocolate and a movie on my couch. And I love not sweating!

Now I know it's not actually time for winter yet, but the temperature has dropped here for the weekend and it's making me want my boots and extra blankets.

Choices...

I got my Halloween costumes in the mail. I bought a couple because they were on sale and I knew I could use them later. The other ones were also a good price and I have the option of wearing them this year.

BUT NOW I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE TO WEAR!

The Indiana Jane idea is cute, but I don't have brown boots. I need to call my mom. I got a hat, and that's super cute! Then there's the knight costume. Love it. I even have the boots for it. But we'd have to come up with Tim's costume quick. On the plus side, my mom sounds like she's willing to help there.

The costumes that aren't in the running? The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. I am in love with the costume. So freakin' cute! Then there's the pirate costume I got for pretty cheap. Love that one too! It fits perfect which is surprising when you buy a costume. But that's for Tim's pirate party in March for his birthday. Yeah, we're totally gonna have a pirate party. Be jealous.

So now I'm faced with a choice. Knight, Indy, or Little Red Riding Hood. I honestly don't know. I may ask my sissy tomorrow, she's coming over. But do any of you have an opinion for me? The good thing is that nothing else is needed for the knight or Red. Indy still needs some boots.

I love Halloween, but the decisions! Agh!

Friday Photo

Yay!!! It's Friday! Time for a picture...

This is last year at Disneyland. I got a couple one-day passes for my graduation so we saved them for Halloween. Then there was this random little photo setup that I had to take a picture in front of.

Disneyland was way cute for Halloween. Everyone should go.

Identity crisis

Okay, maybe not really an identity crisis. But I don't know what to be for Halloween. Tim and I thought we'd match/coordinate this year since it's our first married Halloween. So there is the problem that whatever I choose we need to be able to find something that he can be too. But I have options...

1. Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf: classic, but somehow in six years of dating we haven't done this one before.

2. Knight and Dragon: I found a super cute knight costume so Tim would be my dragon. But he's going to be a cheesy looking dragon. Like make a poncho and attach a hood and tail. We thought it was funny.

3. Indiana Jane and Indiana Jones: I found the costume online and Tim already has the stuff for Indiana Jones. I need a hat though. And it can't be ugly.

So those are our options for this year. I had other ideas, but they would take more preparation than we have time for. So what do you guys think?

Grrrr...

I'm freakin' twenty six years old and breakin' out like a thirteen year old with raging hormones. Ugh. I just wanted to share that I'm annoyed at my gross face right now. This SUCKS! And nothing is working to make it go away. I just want to vacuum out my pores right now.

I'm going to go be angry now.
