Love the Beatles. Love Valentine's Day. So I'll probably be making this. Assuming I take my butt out to a craft store. And I just realized I don't already own red glitter. Well, not the pretty super fine glitter. But I'm pretty sure I have a frame. So that's a start, right?

Wednesday Want
It's another want that I have to do myself...

Wednesday Want
I want this shirt. It was a DIY. Which means it's on my list. Along with a million other things. But seriously, look at this. Glitter. So much glitter. It's so sparkly I'm gonna die!!! (That was for you mom.)
Took Tad home yesterday so today is a childless day. I'm thinking of going out to do a little shopping, then I have a brainstorming meeting at church. Then, hubby and I discussed an at-home beer tasting tonight. :) I love time off.
Happy Wednesday!

You Ready???
I LOVED our costumes this year. I think they were our best ever. I totally get what my mom was telling me about it being fun even while it's stressful. And I haven't been this proud of anything I've done before.
So, are you ready? First some hints.
scales...
some fuzziness...
lots of fur...
some yarn hair...
horns...
Really?
You sure?
Here's the cutest Max you've ever seen. He LOVED his costume and told my mom he was going to wear it forever. I think he's serious.
And here we are with our little Max. People could not get over our heads. There were strangers asking to take pictures of us (of course we obliged). Our youngest niece kind of freaked out until we took off the heads. And yes, the heads were completely made by me (with some help from mom).

Tim and I were WILD THINGS!!!!

Our youngest niece kind of freaked out until we took off the heads. And yes, the heads were completely made by me (with some help from mom). I used football helmets for the base. Tons of quilt batting to get some bigness. I had to make my own pattern (a first!) for the head coverings. It was probably a total of 10 to 12 hours just for the heads. But I'm SO happy with how they turned out.
Best Halloween costumes EVER.
